Subverting Democracy: Barack Obama's Assault on the First Amendment

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,
or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;
or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press;
or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
The media have created their own Frankenstein:
Senator Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL), Democrat Party nominee for President of the United States.
Not only have they given him a free pass on his suppression of free speech and his trampling of voting rights; they have aided and abetted him.
In the unholy event of his election to the presidency, the Obama Frankenstein will turn on his creators.
They got a small taste of that last week when Obama threw off of his campaign plane three reporters whose newspapers (the Dallas Morning News, the Washington Times, and the New York Post) endorsed his opponent for president, Senator John Sidney McCain, III (R-AZ).
These were reporters, not columnists.
It happened on Halloween.
Nary a peep from the media.
For the past several years the Democrats and the media have been screaming about warrantless wiretapping of terrorists by the Bush administration.
President Bush thought it might be a good idea to monitor telephone calls to people living in the United States from terrorists living overseas.
Most Americans agreed.
Not the Democrats or the media.
Constitutional crisis!
Impeach! Impeach!
When their patriotism was questioned, they claimed they were only protecting the 1st Amendment to the Constitution, which they cherish so.

In September, two prosecutors and a sheriff who have pledged their love to Obama promised to arrest, indict and prosecute anyone who runs anti-Obama ads which they consider to be false.
Despite that breathtaking usurpation of constitutionally guaranteed rights of free speech, the media remained mute.
In October, anchor woman Barbara West of WFTV in Florida asked Joe Biden if Obama's policies were Marxist.
Obama sent the television station a sternly worded letter informing them that they'd have no further access to him.
The station stopped airing the interview.
No moral outrage from the New York Times, guardians of the 1st Amendment.
A Kansas newspaper reporter labeled as 'racist' any suggestion that Obama's economic policies are socialist.
Race baiting at its worst.
The media went along with it.
Here's a question for the members of the Fourth Estate: If Obama were to become president, do you think he'd ever exclude from presidential news conferences reporters who have displeased him?
Are you sure?
It's a slippery slope to censorship of the free press.
Unfortunately, America may wake up too late to the fact of Obama's true beliefs about the Constitution.
The evidence is all there now; out in the open.
You just have to open your eyes.
Start with religion.
Obama was born into a Muslim family. His father and uncle were Muslims.
For a period of years during his childhood he was raised and schooled in Indonesia, which has the largest Muslim population in the world.
He attended a Muslim school and his application for admittance to that school lists his religion as 'Islam'.
We don't have space here for a tutorial on Islam, but it's obvious that Muslim countries don't, for the most part, embrace democracy, free speech, or equality for women.
Obama, though, claims to be a Christian, and we take him at his word.
What kind of Christian is he? Protestant? Eastern Orthodox? Catholic? Episcopalian? Methodist?
America has always asked that question of its presidential candidates.
In Obama's case it's 'none of the above'.
His brand of Christianity is Liberation Theology.
Liberation theology is grounded in Marxism.
The European 'theology' of earthly realities.
The dialectical materialism, class struggle, and dictatorship of the proletariat until the establishment of a classless society.
We wrote about in "Marxist! Marxist! Marxist!"
In other words, no God. Just materialism and the whims of Humanism.
Liberation Theology is less a religion than it is a political manifesto.
Obama essentially is alienated from the Constitution because of his theological perception of inequality and oppression in the United States.
In his mind, the Constitution was written by 'oppressors' and is therefore an invalid document which must be subverted in the name of "justice".
Remember his own words from his 2001 radio interview with WBEZ-Chicago:
"But the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth and of more basic issues of political and economic justice in the society".
"It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution."
That's another breathtaking assertion.
Obama doesn't like "the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution".
He knows what's best for America, and to the extent that the Constitution gets in his way, he believes he'd be justified in trampling it.
Then there's the Fairness Doctrine.
When it was in force, all broadcast stations were required to give 'equal time' to opposing points of view.
It was repealed many years ago, and conservative talk radio sprang up in its wake.
The Democrats hate that.
Rush Limbaugh. Sean Hannity. Bill O'Reilly. Laura Ingraham. Egads!
They tried to counter conservative talk with the Liberal Air America. It flopped.
Now the Democrats want to bring back the Fairness Doctrine.
Obama always has a soothing, plausible explanation.
There was no room on the plane for the reporters.
He's not connected to the prosecutors or the sheriff in Missouri.
Barbara West was uninformed and merely spouting Republican lies.
Americans who question Obamanomics are masking their racism, he says. The race card, again.
Yet the cumulative effect of the Obama campaign against people with opposing points of view has been the stifling of free speech.
It's a methodical, step-by-step process of infringing 1st Amendment rights, and indoctrinating school children in the Obama Marxist philosophy.
And what's with Obama's proposed Civilian National Security Force? He wants it to be "just as powerful, just as strong, and just as well-funded" as the U.S. Military!
That's $600 billion for an internal security force. What exactly would they be "securing"?
Does that sound like the KGB to anyone besides us?
In "Buy a Gun, Before It's Too Late" we made the case that Obama threatens the 2nd Amendment.
Now we understand that he's threatening the 2nd Amendment because it's there to protect the 1st Amendment.
After all, once he has taken your gun, it'll be easier to stifle your free speech.
It's not too late to stop him.
Don't let the curtain of oppression come down on the American Experiment.
Vote. And drive three people to the polls with you.
