If you don't believe that Barack Obama wants to take your guns away, you must be someone who's expecting him to give you a "working family tax cut".
If so, we'd like to sell you some stock in Lehman Brothers.
Here's a quote from Obama in his book The Audacity of Hope: "I believe in keeping guns out of our inner cities, and that our leaders must say so in the face of the gun manufacturer's lobby".
Remember, Obama is a Harvard lawyer, which means that he makes his living by convincing you that what you just heard with your own ears and saw with your own eyes didn't really happen.
Don't be fooled. Understand what he intends. If you live in an "inner city" (as defined by Obama) and you'd like to have a gun for your protection, he doesn't want you to have one and as president he'd take it away from you.
Maybe he thinks that Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazelton, Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Reading, Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, and Johnstown are inner cities.
Perhaps he wants to take away your guns in Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, Mansfield, Canton, Youngstown, and Lorain.

When he was in the Illinois State Senate he voted to uphold local gun bans and the criminal prosecution of people who use a gun to defend themselves. (Senate Bill 2165, March 25, 2004, vote number 20, and May 25, 2004, vote number 3.)
In Barack Obama's view, if someone attacks you and you shoot that person, you're a criminal and you should be prosecuted.
The United States Supreme Court recently declared unconstitutional the Washington, D.C. ban on guns in that city. The vote was 5-4.
Obama has already said that he would have voted against four of the five justices who overruled that gun ban.
If he becomes president, he will get to appoint three justices, and you can be certain that they'll all be opposed to guns and that you'll lose your Second Amendment rights.
He has endorsed a 500% increase in the federal excise tax on firearms and ammunition, so there goes your tax cut.
If someone steals a gun from your house and then commits a crime with it, Obama wants to prosecute you as a criminal unless you can prove that the gun was stored securely in your home.
Good luck with that.
A few years ago the Texas Legislature passed a "right to carry" law, which allowed citizens to apply for the right to carry a concealed weapon. Extensive background checks and training were required.
Opponents of the bill predicted that there would be mayhem in the streets if the bill were to pass. It passed, and there has been virtually no crime associated with the legal carrying of concealed weapons.
"I am not in favor of concealed weapons", said Barack Obama. "I think that creates a potential atmosphere where more innocent people could (get shot during) altercations." (The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, April 1, 2008.)
If the public opinion polls are correct, we're about to elect the most liberal president and Congress we have ever seen or ever could have imagined.
There will be nothing to stop them from implementing their far left-wing agenda.
It will be a nightmare.
