Copenhagen, We Have A Problem

December 4, 2009

Updated December 18, 2009

The hot air is leaking out the global warming balloon.

"Settled science" has become the mantra of liberals from Al Gore (the carnival barker of the global warming religion) to Barack Obama, who self-righteously proclaim their societal and moral superiority to skeptics of man-made climate change.

We've now discovered, however, that it isn't settled, because it isn't science. Internal emails from the most prominent global warming scientists reveal that they destroyed the raw temperature data upon which their predictive computer models are based.

They statistically "normalized" the data to adjust for variations in data collection methodology. We can't test their statistical changes, however, because they flushed the raw data.

Russia confirms that the global warming scientists excluded temperature data provided to them from over 40% of Russian territory.

The reasonable inference is that they manipulated the data to support their preconceived conclusions that rising temperatures were concurrent with, and caused by, increased carbon emissions in industrial countries.

That's not science; it's politics.

The scientists also systematically prevented review of their papers and computer models by scientists from outside their clique, and they intimidated scientific journals into withholding publication of dissenting views.

The emails further demonstrate that the scientists deliberately and with malice aforethought destroyed evidence in anticipation of a Freedom of Information request.

As in The Wizard of OZ, we are instructed by The White House to "pay no attention to that man behind the curtain", as President Obama clings to his global warming idiocy.

A Rasmussen Poll indicates that only 25% of Americans believe that the "science" of global warming is "settled".

Al Gore apparently has seen the poll and cancelled his scheduled appearance at a special event at the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen where world leaders are scheduled to negotiate a massive tax against America in the name of this voodoo science.

Denmark's Speaker of Parliament in Copenhagen said: "The problem is that lots of people go around saying that the climate change we see is a result of human activity. That is a very dangerous claim".

Update As Of December 18, 2009

On behalf of President Barack Obama, Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton on December 17, 2009 offered to have the United States raise taxes on the American people in order to help pay $100 billion annually in 'climate reparations' to the world's Communist and socialist dictators in Africa, Asia, and South and Central America.

Also in Copenhagen on December 17th, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said: "We salute the announcement that Secretary Clinton made earlier today. We are fully prepared to be able to meet the commitment of the United States".

In a related development, secret documents were leaked indicating that the United Nations has been plotting to form an international environmental governing body which almost certainly would infringe on U.S. sovereignty.

As the Copenhagen conference is breaking up, the White House announces that it has reached a deal which is "...not sufficient to combat the threat of climate change...". The taxes on the American people to fund billions of dollars in wealth redistribution to dictators will, however, be implemented.

Former Secretary of State George Shultz, quoting former White House Counselor Bryce Harlow, once said that 'trust is the coin of the realm'. Once the trust of the American people has been lost, it's nearly impossible to regain.

It's beginning to trickle into the American consciousness that we have been the victims of a massive scientific fraud. Soon, Americans will turn their ire against the people who betrayed their trust.

If Barack Obama knows what's good for his political future, he won't be standing anywhere nearby when that happens.
